1. Who we are
SnapEdge (“SnapEdge,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides AI‑generated sports betting analytics delivered via WhatsApp and SMS. Our service is operated by SnapEdge, New York, NY USA.
2. Information we collect
- Contact Data – Phone number, email address, and display name you provide when you create an account or text us.
- Usage Data – Chat transcripts, queries, picks requested, device timestamps, and limited technical metadata (IP, user‑agent) collected via server logs and analytics.
- Payment Data – Billing address and last‑4 digits of the card stored by our payment processor (Stripe). We never store full card numbers on our servers.
- Cookies & Tracking – First‑party cookies for session management; anonymous analytics via Vercel / Next.js. We do not use third‑party advertising cookies.
3. How we use your information
- Deliver AI responses to your sports betting questions via WhatsApp / SMS.
- Process subscription payments and manage account status.
- Improve model accuracy and detect abuse (e.g. spam, fraud).
- Send service or account notices (e.g. payment receipts, quota alerts).
- Comply with legal obligations, including responsible‑gaming requirements.
4. Legal basis
We process personal data: (i) with your consent (texting us constitutes “conversational” opt‑in per CTIA / Twilio guidelines), (ii) to perform our contract (provide the service you requested), and (iii) to meet legal obligations (anti‑fraud, record‑keeping) or pursue legitimate interests (service improvement).
5. SMS / WhatsApp program compliance
Frequency: You receive one reply for every message you send and up to 3 automated promotional messages per week.

6. Data retention
Chat logs and embeddings are retained for up to 12 months for model fine‑tuning and troubleshooting, then either anonymised or deleted. Billing records are retained for the period required by U.S. tax law (currently 7 years).
7. Sharing & disclosure
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers – OpenAI (model inference), Twilio (messaging), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), all bound by DPAs/CCPA‑compliant terms.
- Legal authorities when required to comply with subpoenas or to protect against fraud and abuse.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email us atsupport@snapedge.xyz to exercise these rights.
9. Children & responsible gaming
SnapEdge is intended for U.S. residents aged 21 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call or text 1‑800‑GAMBLER.
10. International transfers
We operate in the United States. By using SnapEdge, you consent to your information being processed and stored there and in other countries where our service providers operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be announced via email or SMS.
